THE IRISH TO FIND HIS DREAM tolen bags of gold, irate leprechauns, exuberant singing and dancing were all ingredients of Finian's Rainbow, the musical given by the Music and Drama Departments in the spring. Finian's Rainbow is the story of an Irishman, Finian lVlcLonergan, who, by the process of mathematics, logic, and moonbeams, finds out the reason why all Americans are wealthy. Believing that if he can bury a bit of gold in the magical ground at Ft. Knox he will become rich, he borrows a leprechaun's crock of gold and brings it to America. Og, the leprechaun, follows, with much fun, magic, and laughter ensuing. lVlr. Paris changed the script by updating it and changing some scenes to accommodate the large Wasson chorus.
