CHATTING IN THE Student Center, Senior Council sponsors Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Brinton provide invaluable assistance to Senior Class President Bill Mitchell. Early in the year, the class of 1964 demonstrated its competitive spirit by capturing the first place title in pagoda building during the Homecoming class competition, by securing the fifty dollar prize from the P.T.A. membership drive, and by filling the greatest number of busses for the Centennial football game. Later, college board examinations and senior speeches challenged senior intel- lect. During a special senior assembly early in March, the details of the senior trip Were revealed. This year's class trip differed from those of previous years. By not including a visit to the state capitol, more time was spent in an enjoyable afternoon at Denver City Park. The memorable year was climaxed by the traditional Junior-Senior Prom and grad- uation ceremonies. Council members, led by Senior Class President Bill Mitchell and Vice-president Bill McClellan, directed the Student United Fund Drive. Arrangements for the class trip, senior gift, and council dance were also supervised by the council. Spon- sors vital in its organization were Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Brinton.
