The Roundup Our lattle bunch ot cowboys started out to round up an educataon an the tall ot 1944 The lattle buckaroos were Patsy Johnston Joan Sutherland Sharley Graffath Bally West Rachard Lawton Sandro Austan Larry Wal helm Make Basson and Kate Fasher Our able bodred foreman that year was Mrs Taylor Our second year out on the range we were loaned by Norras Johnston and Betty Olmstead Our foreman Mrs Taylor left us an the maddle ot the year to be replaced by Mrs Hopkans As vve started out thard year we had Mrs Day as a foreman Durang thas year we were loaned at the chuck wagon by Varganaa Graves who haaled from Vancouver We became better catazens thas year by learnang the flag solute Our fourth year out Mrs Day was stall radang along wath us Larry Walhelm was lost but soon replaced by Slcapper Matendort Everyone remembers thus year tor the tact that we learned our tames tables Then came the tatth grade and we went upstaars Thas was truly a momentous occasaon Our foreman thas year was Mrs Bachman The tafth grade was also a good yeor because Mrs Bachman had contests spellang bees and other games that she let us ploy every Fradoy the saxth grade our group of not so lattle buckaroos were loaned by Wayne Jarava Deanna Brown Betty Olmstead and Susan Swatt Our foreman was Mrs Lyons the seventh grade our foreman turned out to be a man by the name ot Mr Hartel Durang thas year Betty Olmstead lett and Betty Brunton came the eaghth grade we were loaned by three more cowboys who had transferred Betty Brunton and Deanna Brown lett us thas yeaa Our foreman was Mr Sartaan at was he who taught us among other thangs that at takes more hot water to make cold water hot than at does cold water to make hot water cold The next year we were treshmen l ll We werent lattle buckaroos any more but full fledged cowboys Durang thas year Mr Cassan was our foreman Deanna Brown also came back thas yeor to stoy wath us tor the durataon of the roundup ln our sophomore year our foreman was Mr Latham Wayne Jarava left us durang the maddle ot thas year ln our lunaor year our foreman was Mrs Schmatt Durang the year we put on our lunaor prom wath the theme ot Melody ot Love and presented our lunaor play Mass Saxteen Then came our SenaOr year Our eaghth grade foreman Mr Sartaan was back to see us through our last year We presented our senaor ball wath the theme of Moonlaght Serenade Most ot the year was spent pre parang tor graduataon but we dad manage to get some studyang don So here we are at last wath an educa taon lUSl about corraled and ready to head out on our own towards the wade open plaans of lafe Th s Page Sponsored 1: Ratzvalle Journal Tames Ratzvalle Wash U D ln . - -, . . ln .
