Six girls-did l say girls! --came to school, shy and meek, attired as follows: TIMMIE HAMILL, Gay Nineties Bathing Beauty, MARGIE HOLLIDAY, Pig Peng SANDRA SULLIVAN, Liberace, at the age of 9, DONNA PRATT, Reg. Size Old Gold Dancer: EVA JOHNSTON, Tubby. The boys, characterized dif- ferently, boldly and bravely, set foot in the halls of O1d 'tucna High as: SKIP ALLERT, Hawaiian Hulla Dancer: TONY DIRKS, Ballet Dancerg JERRY GILLIS, King Size Old Gold Dancer, RONNIE KITE, Barrel Man. Shortly after their ar- rival most of them were painted from head to toe, Many were seen bowing to the Seniors and Sophomores and carrying their books to class, when the Juniors didn 't interrupt this fun. After a tiring day of eating onions, bowing, and carrying books, A the Freshmen faced the Seniors for their first INITIATION, This was held during sixth period and it had a different setting than previous INITIATIONS. Much to everyones surprise it was EDUCATIONAL! I The Freshmen boldly read phrases of 'C' D ECLD history, literature, and biology. By this time they weren't so shy, as they had ANNA BEER! discovered INITIATION was not so bad after all, and they were almost full- D fledged high school 'kids. ' In the evening, the Sophomores planned a program for the Freshmen. The first thing they had to do was line up on the stage and say the Oath to the Upperclassmen. The ballerina dancer proposed to the lumber- jack after that. The hula hula dancer did a dance for everyone, The bathing beauty auctioned herself off for candy kisses and rescued by a friend. Lib- erace entertained everyone by playing a favorite tune on the piano, naturally, Pig Pen enjoyed playing in the mud, too. Much to everyone 's surprise, the Old Gold Dancers danced to a lively tune, Tubby enjoyed blowing bubbles about as much as the Barrel Man enjoyed rolling on the floor and spitting out beans. After all this hilarious fun, a king and queen were crowned. The raving beauties-- the ballerina dancer and hula hula girl--tied for the queen, and Pig Pen was crowned king. A party was enjoyed by everyone afterward. Even the Freshmen!
