Taina lives with her mother, and has a sister, 21 , and a brother, 23 . Her activities seem to be endless. She plays the piano, violin, and enjoys singing. Tai also is very interested in sports, especially in track. A few of her other sports activities include ice skating, skiing, playing tennis, and gymnastics. Taina was asked why she liked Washougal and the school and her reply vvas, I like Washougal because it's a beautiful place and it's close to Portland. I like the school because the people are friendly. She also remarked, l have learned to get out of my shell and not be so shy. W.H.S. CHUIR The choir consisted of 44 members this year. IVlrs. Nona Olsen directed the choir, while IVlrs. Helen Murray accompanied on the piano. The choir was kept busy preparing for the annual Christmas concert. The W.H .S. choir also participated in the Tri-City Mass Choir, and sang at Stevenson, White Salmon, and Washougal. They also sang a fevv selections from their spring concert at the IVIethodist Church in Washougal . To end their performance for the year, the choir united their voices together to sing at gradu- ation. lVlrs . Olsen has worked many years with the choir and she does a fine job every year.
