This year the bands were quite active The Stage Band played at several different events for different clubs . Pep Band played at all home basket- ball games and went to state with the basketball team. Concert Band played for football games and joined White Salmon and Stevenson for the lVlass Band . All in all it was a very eventful year for our school's bands . N.

FH Future Homemakers ofAmerica is the nation- al organization of students studying home economics injuniorand seniorhigh school. It is an incorporated, nonprofit organization supported by membership dues . Any student who has taken a home economics course in school may be a member. The Washougal F ,H ,A . group was involved in many activi- ties . To startthe year offthey installed new officers in formal ceremony . They also at- tended a number ofmeetings around the state. Rhonda Boni was the first member of F .H .A. to run fora state F ,H ,A , office . Elections ' were held in Ellensburg .The group also visited nursing homes inthe area.
