Youire a Good Man Charlie Brown 1973-74 Musical Presented by Washougal High School Chordaliers This year's musical was presented by the Washougal High School Chordaliers. This is the first time the Chordaliers themselves, without the choir, have put on a Broadway musical. Directing the musical was Nona Olsen, with Gretchen Rust, accompanist. You're A Good llllan Charlie Brown , is a musical entertainment based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles IVI. Schulz. The musical consisted mainly of songs and comic strip scenes. A few of the highlighted scenes were: Charlie Brown and that little red headed girl, Snoopy as a World War l flying ace and Lucy's crabbiness survey. A few of their better musical numbers were: You're A Good lVlan Charlie Brown, Glee Club Rehearsal CHome on the Rangel, Suppertime, and The Baseball Game. The show was presented to the public Nov. Sth and 9th. It was also given for Cape Horn Skye, Hathaway, Gause, the High School and Evergreen's Crestling Elementary School, making a total of eight perform- ances. They were very successful in all their performances and received a standing ovation from the High School and after the Friday night performance. 72!IVlusical A
