While below Tia Hudson receives her awards for the night. to Praised by their principal to be the 'Top Class' to pass through Washougal High School in many years, the class of 1974 experienced a graduation ceremony Tuesday IVIay 28 that was as unusual and impressive as their four years as a group at WHS . Cfor Post Record, June 5? Breaking a tradition that was long standing the class of '74, 111 strong marched down the aisle with their class colors, light blue and dark blue . Besides the breaking of that tradi- tion there was also another non-traditional- type act committed being that of a male streak- er, which came forth right in the middle of Karen Cripeins speech on individuality of her classmates . Valedictorian Patty Thompson also had a speech which opened we are today what yesterday made us . Following speeches IVlarianne said goodbye to everyone and thanks to the students . Finalizing the night the class rose to sing the Alma IVlater. Graduationfl 35
