Tipton's performance earned him All Wgihxggl O 12 C3!2:E ROCk Trico honors -and the lVIost Inspirational Washougal 34 O Ridgefield player from his teammates. Washougal 7 33 Woodland Favorite targets of Tiptom wereTim Hagensen Vvlllaslgougal 2 lgvlllte Salmon and Doug Cox. Hagensen was the leading as Ouga tevensoll scorer and was the Panther representative in The Panthers had a very successful season. The highlights included an upset over Scappoose and a thriller over Camas. In league play they chalked up three im- pressive wins against their only two losses. 1 0!Football the Lombardi award contest. He was also an All Trico performer and team captain, along with Tipton. Cox, the league's best deep threat, was a second team All Trico selec- tion. The Bulk of the running was carried by Seniors Jerry Green and Kent Krause. Krause earned second team Trico honors for his performance. The key to the offense were the linemen. Juniors Joe Leeds and Brent Drake anchored the Panthers in the Pit. Leeds earned an honorable mention while another lineman, IVlike Peake the lVlr. Hustle Award .
