Higlaliglytf Bama' Year Washougal High School's Band began the year by electing officers. Then they set- tled down to hard work and many hours of practice for their many appearances sched- uled for the year. Highlighting their year was the exchange concert with Enumclaw High School. The WHS Band traveled to Enumclaw to pre- sent their concert and spent the night at various band members' homes. Several weeks later, the Enumclaw Band came to Washougal to present their concert and spent the night here. The Pep Band played at all the pep assemblies and at the home football and basketball games. The Band appeared in their annual Christmas Concert and again for the Spring Concert. Their final appearance was at the Commencement Exercises. Among the outstanding Band members were Donna Gibbons and Dale Luthy who were selected to attend Music ln May in Forest Grove, Oregon. The Band plays at Commencement Exercises.
