With the changeover from a spring to a fall delivery, this year's annual contains many innovations. The annual staff worked extra hard to acquire the money to support the color pages cause. A fuller coverage was given the spring sports with more ac- tion shots of baseball, track, and golf. A big thrill, especially for the seniors, was the inclusion of graduation excitement-from the distribution of caps and gowns to the Baccalaureate Service and finally to the Commencement Exercises and the Senior Party. Many long hours of work went into the production of Kaiyawi 1967. Attempting to meet the deadlines, the annual staff spent days selling advertisements, drawing lay- outs, writing copy, and waiting for pic- tures. The challenges and rewards derived from the work were well worth the effort as we, the annual staff, now present to you, Kaiyawi 1967. April Hansen and Sandy McCary-Editors-in-Chief The annual staff has fun too!

Panther alex Beeo mer Printed Paper Kathy Kaiser-Editor-in-Chief Kathy Kaiser, editor of Panther Tales, attended summer conferences in journalism at the University of Washington and the University of Idaho. Margie Straughan also attended the University of Idaho while Lynn Barchus Calderone and Sharron Hunter went to Portland State. With many new ideas, they came back with enthusiasm to really make Panther Tales great. And they succeeded. For the first time in the history of our school, Panther Tales became a printed paper. Excellent coverage was given to the many school activities and events- academic, sports, and social. Items such as editorials, senior spotlights, and the I Love and I Wishi' columns were enjoyed by all. The paper staff also sponsored the annual Sadie Hawkins dance which was a great success. Congratulations go to this year's Panther Tales staff for a job well-done.
