Allgheny L. Burrell E. D. Frazier With the advent of the Spring season the Washington Voc-Tech High School Vol- leyball team opened their season with determination and enthusiasm. Maintaining a blistering offense the team has had no difficulty in defeating strong opposition. The Generals handed Peabody High School its first defeat in thirty years of Volley- ball. Under the capable direction of Coach Don Geyer and with experienced letter- man returning the 1965 contingent has been woven into a close knit squad capable of going to the State Championship. Coached by Mr. Don Geyer the Washington Generals could be found strengthen- ing their pitching arms and sharpening their batting eyes. Even before the appear- ance of the first robin, the Generals were practicing the skills necessary for a Well organized team. Add a little sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork possessed by all Washing- ton Vocational Technical High School athletes and once again we find our alma mater able to be proud of her 1965 Baseball Season.
