NTIME77 Time has a way of dragging with young people to the extent that, a day seems like an eternity. Your four years in high school probably has seemed interminable to some of you. Later in life, when an hour appears to be only a few minutes long, you will look back upon your high school days and think of those four years as the best four years of your life. We have tried to make those years profita- ble ones for you, and at the same time happy ones. Flaherty Counselor With the advent during the past decade of the present technolog- ical revolution with its trend toward automation, the demand for skilled and technical workers has skyrocketed to a position of prominence. These jobs demand a much broader range of ability, education, training, and experience than ever before. During this period of phenomenal growth, we here at Washington have not been asleep at the wheel. Already our classrooms and our pipelines to industry, the armed forces, and to technical schools and centers are bulging with youths who have the ability, training, and desire to take their dynamic places in the fabulous future.
