Ill'RXE'l l' F CULTY lt seems that even in war times our schools must continue their work and to do so, faculty members frequently stay with their pro- fession even when defense worlc or the armed service beckons. Certainly education of young people to take their place in a democracy worth fighting foru classes as essential. Seven new members were added to the faculty the past year. Miss Bruner has taught German, mathematics, and general science. Miss Buck has been Freshman counselor and has taught Freshman and Sopho- more English and girls' physical education. Miss Grace Davenport's time has been used in teaching future high school pupils as she has charge of the music in the grammar schools in the high school district. The new member of the commercial department is Miss Mildred Lan- ders. Last year Mrs. Eleanor Mudge substituted several months here been a regular member of the in the English department and the past year she has NVANDA COCHRAN OWENA CROW faculty, teaching art and one class in Freshman social scienceg she is also Senior counselor.
