The shop deparTmenT, which has been enlarged To make way Tor a greaTer naTional deTense eTTorT, is parTicularly graTeTul Tor iTs new mechanical equipmenT. The TrusTees have been acTive in accumulaTing Tunds Tor a new addiTion To The school in The noT Too disTanT TuTure. They have also been acTive in The drawing up oT plans Tor WPA proiecTs aTTer The emergency. Because OT The emergency The curriculum has been changed To include a shop course, which will enable seniors To go direcTly inTo deTense worlc, as well as home nursing and TirsT aid. The evening school also revised iTs curriculum To emphasize classes beneTicial To home deTense such as TirsT aid, nursing, and welding, as well as oTher shop work.
