Sclzool .Zctivities luis tmas rogram On December 14, 1956, Washington Township School held their annual Christmas program. The program took place at eight o'clock in the audi- torium. A large crowd was present to witness the performance Christmas Fun In 91 was a gay, frolicking, rolicking pageant from theqeg E9l. It was put on by the eight grades The first act took place in an old fashioned living room, done in gay nineties style. The mother, father, and children played by Sharon Humburg, Tom Auxter, Patty Overmyer, Linda Micheals, Luther Sand, and Gilford Root, played their parts well. Grandfather played by Denny Hasselbach was the only one who didn't like Christmas. In the second act, the Christ- mas Spirit played by Sandy Smith, tries her best and succeeds to change grandfather from a grouch, to a kind old man. In the third act grandfather tells how he feels about Christmas, and then wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. ITLQI't.CClfL med GIUSS We of Washington Township School took part in the Junior Red Cross drive. This drive collects money for the children overseas. They also collect other articles such as: soap, pencils, tooth brush, and other useful things. fzrlstmas Seals We of Washington Township School took part in the Christmas seal drive. This Christmas seal money is used in the prevention and cure of Tuberculosis.
