TRI-HI-Y SPONSORED MANY ACTIVITIES Dedicated to encouraging wholesome growth in physical, mental, and spiritual values, the Tri-Hi-Y has made a valuable contribution to the moral life at our school. Even though this is her first year at Washington Township High School, Miss Shuster has proved an able and willing leader of this organization, and has guided it through many troublesome situations. We all hope that the Tri-Hi-Y will continue to performin the excellent man- ner in which it has done thus far. A.- Hl-Y ln association with the Y.M.C.A., the Hi-Y aims to serve the community and promote better citizen- ship among its members. The membership is open to all male students of the senior high school. During the football season, the Hi-Y sold programs at the football games in order to increase the funds of their treasury for such things as the service project which was Bricks for Brotherhood. At Christmas time they sponsored the annual Christmas Dance, and they donated three turkeys to needy families. They also accompanied the Tri-Hi-Y Christmas caroling group. BACK STAGE HEROES ARE STAGE CREW MEMBERS Left to Right: Bill lrwin, lynn Bittinger, Eugene McCulcheon, Mr. Sensenich, Advisor, Clarence Campbell and Paul Allen. Kneeling: Tom Henry. The Stage Crew is an organization composed of able young men who are always ready to be of assistance at any of the various events of the year. Although the membership is limited, the Stage Crew has been very successful. They have skillfully maintained the lighting ef- fects and various stage equipment in previous years. A dance was sponsored by the crew this spring in order to earn money for their treasury. Musicals, dances, plays, are just a few events which owe their success to the Stage Crew.
