Parades in Vandergrift .... parades in Apollo and Oklahoma .... all for the glory of the Alma Mater . . . went to several of the away football games . . . you should have seen the shows at half time .... l'm Forever Blowing Bubbles .... lf l Knew You Were Coming I'd Baked o Cake . . . . Tzena, Tzena, Tzena really sharp! Three nights a week for practice-what a workout! ! ! the annual New Kensington Band Festival was a big success and the W.T.H.S. Band gave a fine performance. The loss of nine band instruments in a robbery at the school was a great loss to the school and the student owners of the instruments - but the spirit of the land is good and the students training in the grades now will add to the band in future years.

Making a nice showing at the pep meetings .... games .... assemblies .... and the colorful band festival. A traditional attraction between the halves of a football game! Don't we all love parades .... with those smart stepping majorettes . . . in new uniforms of maroon and white .... strutting down gridirons . . . twirling their batons to the beat of their high school songs. Such was the fronting unit for the W.T.H.S. band.
