Third Act Time: l949-l950 Place: W. T. H. S. Setting: Room 5 with Mr. Yarnel and Room 8 with Miss Snively lwe were too big for even Room 5.9 Plot: First we elected as officers, Pres. Homer Kline, Vice-Pres. Victor Pisone, and Sec.-Treas. Virgina Kocur, and became a class united in spirit at least. Then the real fun began . . . we became the proud possessors of our class rings. Next came Christmas followed by our assembly - full of music and murder . . . and the gym blossomed forth as a regular Erin for our dance the Shamrock Heaven. The next big day added a comparatively new word to our vocabularies . . . we talked about dates for the prom . . . cars for the prom . . . prom prom PROM . . . and that night really lived up to our Great Expectations. Then came finals, the coronation ball, re- ports, and summer brought an end to one swell year of fun and study, our jolly, Junior year. Fourth land linall Act Time: l950-l95l Place: The dear old, familiar halls of W.T.H.S. Setting: Room 6 Presided over by Rosie Plot: l'm a senior now, but I don't believe it was the thought of each of us on August 28. But we didn't ponder long . . . there were too many things to do. Elections came first with Homer as prexy, June Brown as Vice-President, and Janice as the girl who was to look after the minutes and money. Second came our Senior Pictures and our assembly where in we turned scientific and SpIit Atoms like mad Scientists l?J. Thirdly came our dance the Turkey Trot followed by Thanksgiving and a long vacation CNOTE: Janice, send a thank you card to Old Man Winter! and Christmas with all the traditional trimmings. And fourthly came everything, or at least so it seemed . . . measure- ments for caps and gowns, orders for name cards . . . etc. etc. etc . . . then the Coronation Ball, the prom . . . finals . . . and . . . but it's not good-by for we'll always remember the friend- ships, the fun' the ballgames, pep meetings, the dances, the really wonderful teachers. As the end comes closer, and anxious as we are to try our own wings we don't want to leave. But it's time for us to go, so Good-by W.T.H.S., we hope all the future students will have as much fun As time Goes By. 4 r J l 5 f l N Q X 3 1951 I X
