Symbolized by the laurel wreath, the dove of peace and the torch. 'llhc laurel wreath, a symbol of victory. whose graceful evergreen leaves formed the wreath that crowned the victor in ancient timeg the dove of peace, the symbol of love, brotherhood, and the triumph of the principles of peace: the torch, a symbol of light. XYithin six brief years our post war world has become an armed camp, tense with waiting. watching. and, yes, secret planning. Men and nations are bogged down in the quicksands of deceit, disunion, sus- picion. and the lust for world power. , . lhe prospects for tomorrow for you. the class of IQSI, are not pretty. nor pleasant, nor reassuring. It holds too much fear and pessimism.
