Gladys Sheperd The plav takes place in a sanitariurr.. Miss Bea Wise, a real estate agent is trving to sell the place while the owner is in Europe. She runs into the Nutt Family and trys to sell them the place. P. Nutt, the head of the family, is a doctor who is tired of practicing medicine. Meta Nutt, his wife, raises a pet snake. Wall Nutt is fascinated bv fish and Ima Nutt, their daughter is falling in love. As they become settled in Crestdale, several former patients arrive. Larry Smart falls in love with Ima and thinks she is a real nut. He pretends he is a nut in order to protect himself. The parts were played successfully bv the luniors and everyone agreed that it was an evening well spent. The Lone Eagle Albert Brown ........ Mrs Albert Brown ...... N o r man Scott The Lone Eagle is a story of American family life, with one of the sons, lim, achieving fame from aviation through a feat that made American history. A mixed up love affair is involved but at the end, lames proposes to Agnes, and Robert and Betty become engaged. Mrs. Holmes who attends to everybody's business but her own, and Hilda, the slow moving maid, furnished most of the comedy. Julia Johnson, an uprising newspaper reporter, is always on the job. Sparks Wilson and Mayor Hopkins also did their part toward making the play a success. Mr. and Mrs. Brown are the proud parents of their talented sons. -50-
