Don't know what the joke was but it must have been on Miss McCoy, because she blushed and laughed also. - 24----Clarence Mehaffie got 99 on an oral Englishjtest. He states that he would have got 100 but Mr. Brown claimed that he misspelled two words. 25-Gail Marshall yawns in Chemistry class. Mr. Murray announces breakfast. a C Z , 1-Lynn leaves Chemistry class by orders from'Desk Sergeant Murray. 12-Mrs. Brown in assembly: 'iStudy 'now and get your lessons for Mon- day so you won't have to study Sunday evening. ' 24-School was dismissed for the Christmas vacation. VVe hope all will have a joyful Christmas, and-that Santa Claus will not forget any one. 5-Every one came in this morningnwith a happy face, ready for the next semester's work. Page 6-One month of school passed and all's well. Q 7--Miss McCoy goes dinnerless. She misunderstood Miss Corkey's ar- rangements as to lunch and had to be fed on the small children's menu. However, she looks as if she needs a little nourishment. 9-Mrs. Brown wore a new dress today, made out of an old coat-not every one knows that. 13-Mrs. Brown mentioned today something about giving the Freshmen a reception. Her remark was this, We want to give it before all the leaves turn brown . 20-Today Miss McCoy didn't want the history class to giggle. Well, Why didn't she leave off the war paint then? 21-W.T.H.S. basketball boys played Walton. They put up a hard fight. The score was 21-28 in favor of Walton. 11-Every one came dressed up today. They thought they were going to get their pictures taken, but the weather man spoiled it. 18-Clair Watson and Lynn O'Nei1 became serious today in History class.
