THE REAPER Page Fourieen EARL PINKERTON Editor-in-Chief of the Reaper President of the Senior Class Earl Pinkerton, a worthy gentleman, is a member of this class. A brilliant, delightful, talkative, curly headed man is he. Although his heart is in Logansport, he manages to put his mind out here. DORTHY YEAKLEY Society Editor Girl's Glee Club Tennis Team Oh! I got a special from Purdue last night, -that's Dorthy Yeakley. Dark eyed demure little Senior is she at school, but at a party, oh boy! She intends to be a nurse and we are sure she will make a good one. LYNN O'NEILL Snap Shot Editor Boys' Glee Club 'Boys' Quartet Lynn O'Neil1 is another proud owner of a splended voice. His good looks almost make him vain some times, He is one of the best talkers in school, and if talk bought automo- biles, Lynn would possess a Rolls Royce with a nickle plated radiator. A Y f LOLA BERLETT Art Editor Girls Glee Club Yes, we will miss Lola for her energetic and sincere work to please the teachers. She is quiet but we must admit that something is behind it, we are sure Lola will make a neat housekeeper. CHESTER CAMPBELL Secretary and Treasurer of the Reaper Member Boys' Glee Club Secretary, Athletic Association Chester Campbell, that tall fellow you see in the halls is very studious. Yes, he's the one who draws those 95's and then is always kicking if he does not get 98. However, Chester is planing on studying Chemical Engineering, and he is worthy of being praised. HELEN JONES Joke Editor Member of Athletic Association . Helen Jones is a quiet sort of a girl who possesses the virtue of minding her own bus- iness. Nevertheless, Helen is always ready to appreciate a good joke. THE fx'EAPEI? Page Fifteen ?lTHE REAPEI6 Page Sixteen BRUCE M. ROLL Editor of the Senior Class Member of Boys' Glee Club Member of Boys' Quartet Bruce Roll can proudly claim one of the best voices in the school. Without Bruce, the GLEE CLUB would lose a fine bassf He is our society dude, and can be seen most anv time and anywhere. BEULAH BROOKSHIRE Calendar Editor u Girls Glee Club I Beulah Brookshire lives up to the old adage, Laugh and grow fat. She is for- ever telling how hard she works and the grades she receives in return. There are several things we like about Beulah, one is her good diposition and honest humor. CLARENCE 'MEHAFFIE Basket Ball, 22, 23, 24, 25 Member Boy' Glee Club and Quartet ' Circulating Manager of the Reaper Yes, that's Clarence Mehaflie, always smil- ing and cracking jokes. He can talk plain if he wants to, but its hard work. Clarence is g0od-looking like all the rest of the Senior boys and, well--He doesn't know it! HILDA BAUMANN Girls' Glee Club Double Quartet Editor of Music Department Athletic Association Take a second look. A friendly face you say, good natured? Right you are. Hilda Bauman, is one of' the best girls of the Senior class. Although rather hard to get acquaint- ed with, but when you know her, you will realize the worth of a smiling face. . CLAIR WATSON Athletic Editor n Basket Ball, '22, '23 '24 and '25 Track Team '23 and '24 Clair Watson. Takes the cake when it comes to arguing with Miss McCoy. He is another one of our basket ball squad. FAE BRADLEY Art Department Girls' Glee Club Girls' Double Quartet You see that girl who is ever lastingly standing in front of a basin of water, doing funny curlicues with her fingers,-well, that's Fae Bradley, putting water waves in her hair, nevertheless, we like Fae for her class spirit' and winning smile. THE Ii'15AI'E'R A Page Sevenleeu l8EAPEA'L S 14' - -S ---S '- 8lZl.0l'S The class of '25 met its first time in the Sophomore year. Since all its members were from neighboring schools, it had to be- come accustomed to a new school which held different standards, making working conditions somewhat unnatural at first. The next year proved harder in studies, and more difficult in many, ways, but was enjoyed to the fullest extent by everyone. Now comes our last year which is the glory of all underclass- men. It is a time when metal is tried, ambitions realized, and self- reliance called upon. Those to whom a college education is a predominating am- bition there will be a new world of books, courses, and faculties. To others there will be a world in which they must choose an occupation and strive persistently for that thing so coveted by humanity -- Success. But this year has served to get us started, to help us find our place, humble as it was, and to fit into the scheme of things. Eight entered the Freshman class of Washington Township, rather green perhaps, but full of pep that makes a real class. Our class has begun to recognize and avail itself of the many opportunities for personal development.
