Although by the time we reached our senior year we were firmly convinced there had never been another class like the Class of 1969, we soon found without the guidance of our senior advisor, Mrs. Nelson, the goals we had been working toward these past four years could not have been achieved so readily. Her ability to plan activities and anticipate and eliminate obstacles in advance has made our senior year a more effective and pleasant one for everyone. Her devotion and sincere interest in each of us will long be remembered. It was a sad time for the Class of 1969 when Mr. Morley left us to enter the military service. Under his leadership as our freshman year advisor, class pride and unity of purpose really began to blossom. He helped us set realistic goals and taught us the pleasure of working together as a group. He shared the joys of our first successes and helped us overcome our early disappointments.
