Patients were brought into a free clinic, at first on Friday afternoons only, but later on, three afternoons a week. The school provided a driving team and suitable conveyances for making calls to visit sick animals on farms in the surrounding country. In September of 1905 the Veterinary curriculum at WAC was changed.
