Ag Econ Aids in Harvest Ball Ticket Sales Sleeping in a hall in Bozeman, Montana, giving a fall barbeque, and a public speaking contest hardly seem to fall under the ac¬ tivities of an Agricultural Eco¬ nomics Club. Acquainting stu¬ dents with possibilities and open¬ ings in the field of Ag Econ and providing fellowship are the main purposes of the club. Agricultural Economics Club members and faculty prepare barbecued ham¬ burgers at annual fall round-up in Reaney Park. ASCA Sponsors Harvest Ball Students in the field of agriculture belong to the Associated Students of the College of Agriculture. Coordinating departmental clubs and honoraries and serving as a communication bridge between Ag students was the main purpose of the organization. Led by Pete Weidenbach, President, and Dr. Martin Waananen, Advisor, the group oversaw the Harvest Ball, award for Aggie of the Year, and scholarship. Student-Faculty Spring Banquet Brings Back Alumni For the student with interest in the fields of Engineering and Agriculture, the American So¬ ciety of Agricultural Engineers is the right group. It is a pro¬ fessional society associated with both the College of Agriculture and the College of Engineer¬ ing. This year activities for the group included regular meet¬ ings, speakers, and field trips.
