The memory of four years spent at a university is at first made up of many vivid details. We are certain that we shall never forget the Palouse wind, the brick buildings, the crunching of snow under our boots, or the way the grass looks when it first turns green in the spring. But, as time passes these minute details slowly fade, and instead we remember the people. People who in some way touched our lives, stimulated our minds, and perhaps caused us to think for the first time. It is the people that give a university life. People establish its tradition, and people determine its direction. Washington State University is people.
