Todd Hall Todd traffic, its complications, delays, and finally one-way signs, was one of the familiar memories of classes in this four-story building. The main doors were widened with the work com- pleted just after the students returned from Christmas vacation. Built in 1949, it was named for C. C. Todd, former dean of the college of Sciences and Arts. The original cost was about $2,000,000. Usual inhabitants of the building are history, political science, business, sociology, and anthropology majors. The auditorium makes a nice test atmosphere. It is also used for the Friday night Y-Movie and Lecture- Artist guests and other speakers.

■ i Iff If rr ir ' rtinrir!; ' |jrii--: WSU Campus As a land grant college, we celebrated the centennial of the Congressional action of 1861 this year. The 7,828 enrollment set a record in the fall. Colleges which WSU now boasts include Agri- culture, Economics and Business, Education, Engi- neering, and Mineral Technology, Home Economics, Pharmacy, Physical Education and Recreation, Sci- ences and Arts, and Veterinary Medicine. The state General Extension Service is also situated on our campus. In the heart of Whitman county, the largest wheat producing county in the United States, Pullman stu- dents seldom see the wheat fields as they are harvested. Usually students observe only the stubble and worked ground in the fall with its colorful patterns, and the beautiful green wheat as it moves with the wind in the Spring. ' «» -
