Not only that, Miss Doe, but we had an elegant baseball team and most of us went in for practically every 1port the school could offer. Our swimming team won Hrst place in the meets and lfnlily Vfright brought us more honors by being Badminton ehampion. ,IPNNIIL just a minute. 1W'rihxv lmilllyl I want to get this straight. Now you were saying-- Rtnllsmlz I'ye just thought of something else. Miss Doe. You know the Freshmen always have a basketball team of their own. ,ll-XXIII Yes? Rllll lmll: Mary Humphries was the captain, you know. -ll NNIIZ No, I didn't, but- Rt.nllsAll: Well, that team won all but one game during the seafon. ,Il NNII: Remarkable! Now. Rebekah. I understand that you .lll also excelled in originality and- RLBIKAHI I don't know about that, Miss Doe. but I remem- ber we did give a pretty good ll.lllowe'en party. And what about the Red Cross activities? Rllxl lsftll: I believe our drive went over a hundred percent that year. Speaking of originality though, we did do one thing that was pretty outstanding. As spring began to come along and we found ourselves getting a little sluggish, we divided into four groups. To keep up the competition we decided that the three losing teams would throw a party for the winner. lllxxll: Now that sounds like a great idea. Did it work?
