ADMINISTRATION As far as we can determine from his- tory no one voted for Valley Forge during the American Revolution. We know no one want- ed Gettysburg, Antietam, or Vicksburg dur- ing the Civil War. Generations before us gave up their lives reluctantly on our Western Plains and through the mountain passes. The past two World Conflicts have left white crosses scattered around the world as markers for those who died to help perpetuate an idea. These were some of the challenges faced by previous generations in order to give us our heritage. Who is to say that the present challenge is more difficult than these? C. I.. Amundson Most of us will long remember this school year as one of big snows and 24 degrees below zero temperature. These facts are worthy of some note but we hope you will also look back on the year l95O-l95l as one in which you achieved the realization of your goal as a successful citizen at Park High School. Your teachers and fellow students have enjoyed sharing experiences here with you. Regardless of how spectacular or out- standing your achievements have been, you too are part of the ever-increasing family of Parkites. Take pride in your associations here and, down through the years which lie ahead, may you draw strength and encouragement in carrying on the fine traditions for which Park High School stands. A. B.
