SENIOR IPRUPIHIIECY Thrs rs the year 1966 The weather rs pleasant as our trarn whrzzes toward the well known crty of Lewrstown Ohro We are Just returnrng from a trrp to Hollywood Calrfornra where we vrsrted the MGM set that stars the famous srnger ANNA ALLA BACH We also went to the Rose Bowl game where Ohro State Unrversrty played the Unrversrty of Calrfornra Naturally Ohro State won because of the excellent coachrng of TERRY VIOHL The tram rs comrng to a stop at Fullerton Montana We have heard that rt was named for the sheep expert of the natron KENNETH FULLERTON, whose ranch rs nearby As we get off the trarn to stretch our legs a group of photographers rntervrewrng the wrnner of the Indranapolrs Speedway race Dean Mrller blocks our way Soon we are contrnurng our trrp In the club car on televrsron we see the famrlrar faces of BILI1 DAVIS recervrng the greatest award of our natron for hrs achrevements rn betterrng the planes of the future RONALD ROSTORFER recervrng an award for hrs newest rnventron the Jetmobrle and KENNETH WORTH INGTON recervrng the Nobel Prrze for hrs brrllrant work rn the freld of scrence Afterwards we swrtch channels and watch Merrrment wrth Marrlyn the popular new show starrrng the fabulous comrc MARILYN BAKER On our way to our berths we bump rnto BEVERLY SHIGLEY and THERESA LINET, two grrls who have become successful both as secretarres and as wrves We talk for a whrle and drscover that BEVERLY FOX rs happrly marrred to the celebrated Marlon Brando We stop at Kansas Crty Kansas and buy an rssue of the LEWISTOWN GAZETTE edrted by CAROL SKEEN Whrle glancrng through the paper we see that the Four Sparklers a srngrng quartet on the show See It Wrth Wrlbur produced by WILBUR WILCOX has splrt up The former Sparklers are JUDY TAIT LOUIS GOODING NANCY NEEDLES and DAVID DETWILER The cause of the break rs the drfference of oprnron between Dave and Nancy on a song To our surprrse therr lawyer rs CAROLYN FORSYTHE We also read that JOHN CHRISTOPHER rs engrneerrng the reconstructron of the Golden Gate Brrdge Hrs wrfe rs the former JOAN FRANCE On the sports page we see the prcture of the professronal football star JERRY MCLAUGHLIN and hrs wrfe the former JACKIE MILLER holdrng therr newly born son Terry We have to stop at Columbus Ohro to swrtch trarns to go on to Lewrstown At the statron we see ROSALYN BUCKLEY We eat lunch together and learn that her name rs now Mrs Tuller and that she rs lrvrng on a farm on the outskrrts of Columbus She rnforms us that her son rs berng taught by her former classmate MARILYN MATTOX We stop at Carolyn s Beauty Shop to make an apporntment and are surprrsed to learn that CAROLYN MATTOX rs the owner and SHIRLEY SHELLENBARGER 1S her assrstant We can t stay long because we are afrard we wrll mrss our trarn We arrrve at the statron as the conduc tor NORMAN QUAY rs callrng All Aboard We hurrredly get on the trarn Just mrssrng CHARLENE STEVENSON who rs a sergeant rn the WACS We go to the drner and srt down at a table wrth ALICE BOWDLE and JOYCE WERT They are head rng home from New York Crty where they model clothes for The Brg Payoff The wartress SONJA SHULTZ brrngs our food and whrle we eat we lrsten to a record by the Four Sparklers As we near Lewrstown the trarn rs slowrng down and we look out the wrndow We see LARRY HOOVER on a tractor mowrng hay wrth JERRY WIFORD runnrng along behrnd tryrng to attract Larry s attentron We wonder rf rt can be somethrng rmportant Soon we arrrve at the statron and as we get off the tram we see SHIRLEY ROGERS and MARY JANE BRENNER, both Sunday School teachers takrng therr classes on a tour through the depot We head for the IGA store to get grocerres for drnner As we enter the store we are offered the servrces of DANNY BURDEN and LARRY ROBSON who are partners rn the ownershrp of a charn of IGA stores across the natron We hurry home to Russells Pornt whrch rs now a suburb of Lewrstown As we are preparrng drnner we revrew the many events of our trrp home and we are proud to thrnk that the members of the Senror Class of 1956 at Washrngton Hrgh School have become successful rn therr own frelds By Nancy Sweeney and Beverley Dever . - , . 1 1 1 u I 1 a , . , . 1 r 9 ' I 1 , . . . . ,, . ,, - ' ' 1..i .Li- u vw - - - n - ' a 1 Q - n 1 1 1 - - 11 11 - - I 1 vu . . 11 - 1 2 ' D 1 1 0 . a 0 o 1 1 p s 0 1 l 0 e Q , . u 1 11 - 1 o - , . . . . . . - . . ,, ,, . . . . . C ELA H JISTU R In the ancient year of 1944, eighteen strange little creatures were creeping towards the doors of learning. Who?
