Time plays a very important part in all ot' our litffu . . .the alarm that wakes us up, the bell for the sian of first period, the bell for that magical liewitcsliingg hour of 2:00 P.M. tlispecially on Fridaysi, due relates for papers, and of course, june 13, 1980. Each season has its role in our academic and social lives, determining the sports that are played, the entertainment and activities attended, and our moods, Each new season has its special duality, Summer, a break from school, Fall, the start ot a new year at Washington-Lee, Winter, the coming of snow and the end of a semesterg and Spring, the end ot' school and the end of a way of life tor many of us. What will the eighties be like? It this year was any indication, it will be full of new ideas, concepts, and lifestyles. A yearbook is designed with the idea ot' being used as an instrument to call hack the past, to help relive the good times and the bad, and to put down on paper the things that are clear in our minds today but may he forgotten tomorrow. The main objective of the 1980 issue ot the Blue and Gray: To portray the end ot the 1970's and the beginning of the 8th decade ot the 20th centu ry.
