IULIO C. ABAUIO 19 0: The Class i? i 2 X, f 7 -'v ' 7 GLORIA ALLEN . SHIRIN AGHABEH V I ,Q-9 4 RICK ALLSOPP At the end of our Senior year, we are starting our long look back at thc manv memories that were made XN'ashington-Lee, We came as sophomores, to find that fresh ltotto men would soon hold our high r of being the youngest class at MN-I . Our ltlth grade year was one for leaving our lunior high friends and m old- ing into the mainstream of Senior High lite XXX- began to goin clubs and spo and exen found how easy skipping could be. XM- xoic ed our opinions during thc C hristnias controversy and watched I-bb lint! away our back yard, wt--. - 1. '-4 lil Vtilritc It tt ind rc turnc cl is iuniors to find a stricter attendance policy, homework, PSAT's, SAT's, and more homework waiting for us. We weren't bothered, though, as we attended football games, parties and looked around for our magi- cal 80th turn on our class rings. Most left for the summer with the excitement of being a senior when returning to W-L. Finally the big Senior year and all of its privileges came. We elected the homecoming King and Queen, won the float contest, held the annual Christmas liafaar, were fitted for caps and gowns, found our class ranks, and before we knew it we were filling out our college .ipplications and thinking about the prom. To many, our Senior year went by much too quickly, for others, Senior slump started their first week of school. Which ever occurecl, most will agree that when high school memories are turned over, their Senior year will be re- membered most fondly. As the graduating class of a new dec- ade, we are the generation of the future that will run our nation. We are special, and our special memories will not be forgotten. Most will leave Arlington and their families and begin a new life. We are the class of 14380 leaving W-L to make our futures come true.
