WHATPEOPLE WILL DO. . . The annual donkey basketball game, held in the gym, provided fun and en- joyment for a large crowd. Of the teams, two were of students and two were of faculty members. The prize was a large trophy. In the semifinals, one student team and one faculty team won. The student team won the trophy, which was accepted by Jeff Smith. The sophomore class decided that it was low on money, so it sold some of its assets. Sophomores could be purchased at the Sophomore Auction. On Slave Day, the sophomores' 'Arnasters could make their 'tslaves clean out their lockers, carry their books, or wear the costume of their choice iwithin the dress code, of coursej. Slaves were seen wearing tuxedos, marching band jackets, Mickey Mouse ears, and other diverse articles of clothing. Because of Open Campus a substantial drop in the number of students eating lunch in the W-L cafeteria was expected. The drop, however, was not enough to compensate for the fact that all the students were eating at once - hence the longer lines. The existing cafeteria is scheduled to be demolished as part of the recon- struction plan. Eating facilities will be moved to other parts of the building. The kitchen and cafeteria staff will be replaced by a variety of vending machines. TOD lefty The student body shows what it thinks of school lunches.
