Administration and Guidance This year brought changes in the W-l. Administration, Instead of having a Dean of Girls and a Dean ot Boys, the system was altered, and we had three Assistant Principals, one assigned to each particular grade. Mr, Ness moved from Guidance and was made Assistant Principal for the lOth grade, Mr, Long was put in charge of the juniors, and Mr. Wilson headed the seniors. Mrs. Matthews became Director of Curriculum, replacing Dr. Webb. In the Guidance Department, Mrs. Guter filled the position left vacant upon Mrs. Peckham's retirement. lt must be added that this department was as busy as usual this year, with counselors helping students to solve problems in scheduling, college boards, and admissions. The College Day Program was held early in the year at Thomas Jefferson Community Center, and was a great success.
