In conjunction with the industrial arts department, the artists designed a home for tomorrow. ln an architectural course taught to art classes, students planned the interior of the house. Fulfilling the responsibility of decorating twenty' two area-1 around the school for Christmas, the art department planned early and spent several weeks hefore ilhristnias adorning the building with festive I0 Academics decorations. judging the homeroom doors, the stu' dent council and art department chose winners in both secular and religious classes. In April the department sponsored its annual Art Show, in which students participating in art classes exhibited their works. A variety of onefman ex' hibits given throughout the year in both the faculty dining room and the Arlington County Central Library evidenced the widefranging interests and versatility of the amateur artists.
