Characters from such children's stories as Alice in Woiiderland, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and Treasure Island appeared in murals painted for several Arlington County elementary schools by members of the advanced applied design class. In the spring the department sponsored its second annual art show exhibiting works of students in the general art and applied design classes.
