Artists Serve School With Creative Talents Serving the school with their abilities, the art students planned and constructed sets for the school plays, arranged bulletin boards for hall display, and designed post- ers advertising school events. For the first time, students were ad- mitted to the third and fourth year art classes only with the approval of the art teachers. In the advanced program they Worked on their own, pursuing fields of special interest to them. Activities includ- ed the illustration of classics, sculpture in clay and plaster, and travel poster design. Students were urged to enter contests and displays in order to develop their talents as much as possible.
