Zdfofy of 75 Zum g'l6KLlifl.l'Zf get!! Here il is graduating time at good old Washington-Lee. We hate to leave il: we have had so many good times here. vol all of us entered Washington-Lee in the seventh grade. hut those of us who did will never forget the thrill that comes lrom entering a lug strange school. juniors! Fear of what would happen to us. strangers in a strange place. But it did not take us long to feel at home in so friendly an atmosphere and we entered our sophomore year happy in our school of which we had hecome so proud. It was here that many other new students entered our class. We tried to make them feel at ease in new surroundings. reinemlmering how we felt not so long ago entering a new school. Our school activities broadened in this year. when dances and games held extra fascination lor us. As juniors we helped to procure the movie projector that added to the social as well as intellectual life of the school. Our dance lor the seniors was a great success and gave us added assurance. Then at last we were seniors! We had reached the goal for which we had striven so long. Dignity' and poise had come to us who had worked so conscien- tiously' for the right to lie called a n5enior. We have been represented in the Cadets, three ol the highest oflices heing held hy' Wlilliam Wiseman. Foster Nickerson. and lfllis Taylor. We have taken part in many' cluh activities. William Wiseman and Berkeley' Baldwin represent the Drama- tic Club. Mary' Ellen lidmondson and Berkeley Baldwin were represented in the Student Association. We are very' proud of Nlary' Virginia Latimer who is in the Honor Society. The future holdseewho knows? But whatever mav come let us all hope that we will face it with the preparedness and fearlessness that Washington-Lee has instilled in our minds. 16 . I
