Flo wer White Rose A SENIORS l934 MOTTO Honor lies at Lahofs gate. Colors Green aid Xvhite TOAST TO OUR SCHOOL DAYS I-Iere's to our good old school days We've known so long a time, With arithmetic and civics So hard for all mankind. To our childish joys and sorrows That are buried in the past, And to the hopes of future years With no shadow overcast. To our own true loves and losses Our struggles, hopes and fears, And to the path our feet shall tread Throughout the coming years. To the sacred friendship of school-mates Whose warm handclasp we know, In the morning of our lifetime When we need that friendship so. Better still, to teachers we've cherished Through all these changing years, Who have shared our trials and hardships Our laughter and our tears. To our future, a pleasant voyage, Adown time's troubled stream ,Till through the darkening evening mists The harbor lights shall gleam. DORIS DAVIS. .S'f.l'f1'1'll
