To our childish joys and sorrows That are buried in the past, And to the hopes of future years With no shadow overcast. To our own true loves and losses Our struggles, hopes and fears, And to the path our feet shall tread Throughout the coming years. To the sacred friendship of school-mates Whose warm handclasp we know, In the morning of our lifetime When we need that friendship so.
