D0 BLE ASQUE PLAYERS The officers of the ninth grade Drama Club are Sharon Smyers, President, Judith Marlette, Vice president, Joanne Morrow, Sec- retary, Corrine Brown, Treasurerg Brian J enne, Sergeant at Arms. The Double Masque Players help encourage the members' talent for producing, writing, and acting in plays and programs given throughout the year. Their special project is the Jr. Hi Jinx Show. Miss Ferguson advises this organization. The officers of the eighth grade Drama Club are Sue Olson, President, Pam Gilbert, Vice president, Sharon Applebaum Secretary, Linda Whaley, Treasurer, Ronald Alveraz, Sergeant at Arms, Laurene pugeot, Reporter, Mrs. Sanford, Adviser. The Double Masque Players is a service organization of Washington Junior High School. Members contribute time and effort to writing scripts, producing plays, and assisting with the annual Jr. High Jinx Show.

WSPAPER The newspaper keeps students up-to-date on the latest school news and activities. This year the news- paper was compiled by the journalism class. J 7 ERIT AWARD Mr. Bender presented these outstanding citizens in our school Merit Award Certificates. Top winners last years were Suzanne Day in the Eighth Grade and Laurene Peugeot in the Seventh Grade.
