The primary purpose of the Student Council is to uphold high standards for the school and to promote co-operation and understanding between students and faculty members. Some of the projects have been the Community Chest campaign, cheerleading agggmbly, dance, and the Easter assembly. I - The officers of the Honor Society are: JoAnn Morrow, President, Fred Fisher, Vice president, Corirme Brown, Secretary,Sue Day, Treasurer. The purpose oi the Homer S. Nightingale Chapter of the Na- tional Junior Honor Society is to g1ve'su1table recognition to those students that attain and possess, to an outstanding degree, good scholarship, .worthy citizenship, devoted service, intelligent leadership, and exemplary character.
