RGANIZATIQNS ' STUDENT c:ouNclL LWIQ-I The purpose of Student Council is to create and uphold high standards for the schooi and promote co-operation between the students and the faculty. Accomplishments for this year have been the Community Chest Drive, Spring Elections, and the Eas- ter assembly program. The officers are: President, David Pancoastg Vice-President, Deanna Laney, Secretary, Sharon Keipg Treasurer, Gene Ward. Advisers were Mr. Heldt and Miss Ferguson. YEARBOCK The aim of the Yearbook Staff is to assemble a well-organized and enjoyable yearbook. Each year the students and advisors working on the yearbook take charge of the taking of pictures and pre- paring the layout. The co-editors of this year's annual are Karen Pettibone and Jim Whiteman. The advisers are Mrs. Selter and Mrs. Wheelden. . ,.a.. EWSPAPER Theunewspaper furnishes students with school news and a record of school activities. This year there are pictures on every page and an editorial in every issue. Great emphasis has been placed on journalistic M style. The staff consists of Editor, Bill Gembusg News, Carol Helselg Literary, Cathie Brodieg .Sports, Ray Smithg Society, Dianne Rorman. Mrs. Powell is the adviser and has been assisted by Mrs. Weiss and Mr. Horton. y W y.y LIBRARY COUNCIL Library Council sponsors a greater interest among the students in the use of books and 1i!?iLaiy'otgaHl'iQal?lb!gy?.m It helps the librarian improve the library service of the school and stimulates reading interests.
