We also wise- ly selecTed Mr. Fuller To be our engineer Tor Tour years. The nexT sTop was noT enTirely volunTaryg we were iniTiaTed by Those horrible creaTures Trom The side show, The Sophomores. During The year we also made a Tew sTops. One was our Freshman dance which many sTill remember as a Tine performance. The oTher was our Trip To Playland. One brighT SepTember morn oT I949, we came bounding back aTTer a Two monThs vacaTion To The show, lighTs, grease painT, and The second lap oT our iourney. We came back as Sopho- mores. We elecTed Thomas Murphy as our new conducTor wiTh Ella May Boons, Nancy STarreTT, and Joan Moore as assisTanTs. ATTer a very successful magazine sale. we Took our Turn in wreaking vengeance upon The unsus- pecTing underclassmen in November. ln moving The road show To The norTh, we snawballed inTo The gym wiTh our Sophomore dance, The Blizzard of '49. ThaT Tollowing spring wiTh The show in warmer climes, we, as Sophomores, again made The pious pilgrimage To Playland. This was also The spring oT our TirsT orgy of RegenTs exams. During The early Tall oT l95O we came bac': wiTh The expression, Will we ever geT sTar bill- ing? As iunior sTars we came back To perTorm as Juniors. In December we did receive some sign oT our coming sTardom. Our rings came.
