Mitt Irene Spitz We of XWHS take this opportunity to pay tribute to one of our most beloved teachers, Miss lrene Spitz, who passed away on March 11, 1956. Miss Spitz was one of our teachers most interested in student affairs. As the chairman of the sponsors of the class of 1956, she was the person with guiding hands who did so much for our benefit. As a teacher, she was liked and respected by the entire student body for her friendly, courteous manner in conducting classes or in any project she undertook. She also had the admiration of her fellow teachers be- cause of her unfailing cheerfulness in her work at school. Miss Spitz has left a permanent mark, not only upon this school, but also upon the memories of her in- numerable friends. That mark is one that only a Wonderful, kind person could make-one of high esteem and friendship. She never forgot any of her students during her many years as a teacher, and we shall never forget her.
