STELLA ROUSE Sewing DOIVIESTIC When the new high school building was built a large roomy Domestic Science department was equipped the sewing classes were started The interest in the work has grown as the numbers have increas ed in the classes It IS the aim to make the course as practical as possible At the comple tion of a one year or a two year course the girls have acquired a knowledge useful to them throughout their lives. 'X In lf 0 ,f XX' Qi 'l .l i.E7j M- f - Whig: MAURIN LAPPIN Cooking SCIENCE The plan of vvoik in the cooking division of the Domes tic Science department has been changed this vear to some extent Besldes the regular classes there has been a new class organwed a cafeteria class of eight girls During the year these girls have served about twenty two hundred hot lunches to teachers and school children. The aim is to teach the girls to serve in large quantities and in all the classes the work is given as practical as possible.
