Class I-llslory Remember the September of l954? Sure you do! That was the year and the month that we the grad- uating class of 58 started high school. Although we were about as green as freshies come the freshman Hi Y boys were smart enough to choose Bev Bymgton to be our Hn Y Candidate We all reloiced wrt Bev Hewlett cg when she was announced as our first Sweetheart Candidate Gary Peterson represented us well that first year as our Spmster Candidate September l955 found us vets at this business of bemg WHS students We showed our influence when Jacque Mann our Hi Y Candidate was named Queen of the Hi Y Carnival The Dramatics Club T year that Tom Muilenburg was elected to be our Spinster Candidate When the annual came out 3 that spring we found that we had elected .lan Campbell and Gary Peterson as typical sophomores September l956-we were anxious to get our teeth into history speech and physics Besides studying hard we had some honors to give First we elected Gary Peterson Bob Baker an 'N Campbell and Judy Shoemaker as our gunlor class officers Next the boys voted 4 X . ,K , , h . 15 77 P officers chose Connie Papas 1, l to be the sophomore Candidate for Sweetheart.
