Xl! ...d... OUR SCHOOL From earliest time the lamp has been a symbol of learning, Its association with light, without which there would be no life, has something to do with this. The image of learning as a beacon light upon a high place is traditional, It is this symbol which we are try- ing to develop. We have here in our county a light that shines out as a symbol of learn- ing. This is our high school. l ALMA Washington High, our Alma Mater Here's a toast to you And to all our friends and classmates We will e'er be true. Many are the hours we've spent here Days and long years too But for all we'd not exchange them Dear Old Gold and Blue, 5 We are proud of our new county high school building. These pictures show different views of the front entrance as it looks today. With landscaping this entrance will take on a different look - but the same spirit or light that has shone so greatly in the past will continue to shine forth even more brilliantly.
