When Maw broke the news to Paw that luney Lou was getting married, Maw came to the conclusion that Oeelie and Bonnie Mae would have to have a husband first since they were older, otherwise they might never find one. This is the begin- ning of everybody's troubles. Some of the main incidents included: Snakes getting loose, Ceelie's taking a bath, a feud being started, disguises, faking snake bites, being locked up in a pigpen, and finally, Ceelie's finding a husband.
